seen earlier that morning around the building. the suspect is described as a white male. in his fifties. six- feet- tall and 160- pounds. with light brown hair and a white beard. tonight we're learning that the bay area gunman behind the shooting of two santa cruz detectives was allowed to resign from the military instead of face a less than honorable discharge. jeremey goulet's criminal records show investigators found probable cause to prosecute goulet in 2006 after being twice accused of rape, but his commander allowed him to resign instead of facing a court martial. the investigation into goulet's criminal records was spurred after the attack on santa cruz detectives this past february while they investigated a report of a sexual assault. goulet was later killed in a shootout. 3 of the 5 young boys recently arrested for the carjacking, robbery and
